Ancelotti: "Valverde is an irreplaceable player"

Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti told the press that Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde is indispensable to the team.

The Italian coach highlighted the player's quality, strength and intelligence.

At a press conference ahead of Real Madrid's match against Osasuna, Ancelotti was asked about Valverde's importance to the team. The coach replied that the Uruguayan is "an irreplaceable player" thanks to his "quality, his strength and his intelligence".

Ancelotti also said that Valverde is a "complete player" who can play in several positions. "He can play as a central midfielder, as a right midfielder, as a left midfielder and even as a right-back," said the coach.

Valverde has been one of Real Madrid's standout players this season. The Uruguayan has scored four goals and provided three assists in 16 appearances in all competitions.
