The Eagles (2-1) took an early lead and never trailed, but the Dragons (1-2) kept it close throughout the game.

New Diana quarterback Kelton Collier threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Kameron Harris rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown.

The Bulldogs (2-1) scored the game's first 28 points and cruised to the victory.

Kilgore (1-2) was held to just 21 points, its lowest output since 2018.
